I have installed vista beta 5384 x64. When the istallation ask me a username and password, i have typed: username="Administrators" and no password. This value was accepted. When i try to start i have an error message "this account has been disabled". I have not any password or any other account. I can't start. Any solution?

Log in to Safe Mode (F8) and enable the account.

Where is the Administrator account and how do I log into it?
By default, the Administrator account in Windows Vista does not require a password, its blank. The Administrator is only accessible through Safe Mode also. You can enable the Administrator account after installation if you did an upgrade from Windows XP. Click Start > right click Computer > click Manage > expand Local Users and Groups > select Users > right click the Administrator account > click Set Password. Don't use "administrator" how username.

Start > Run > compmgmt.msc > Local Users and Groups > double click on Administrator > untick the "Account is disabled" > Apply, OK > Right click on Administrator and click "Set password".

to fix your particular problem i think you will have to reinstall vista and use a different account when it asks you to create an account, the admin account is disabled by default and unless you created another account during setup you won't be able to logon

With XP, you can log into Safe Mode, the built-in Administrator account will appear. This account does not have a password associated with it. Use this account in safe mode to remove or change the other accounts password.
